Karoline creates effective, equitable, and scalable education and assessment solutions. She leads the implementation of assessments (AI, adaptive assessments, screening, progress monitoring) within complex state and district systems and currently oversees policy-driven academic screening initiatives. She delivers results by working collaboratively with assessment, psychometric, government relations, accounts, sales, and proposals teams.

Prior to her work at Curriculum Associates, Karoline started a consulting company to respond to the need for cutting-edge solutions in education. She served forward-thinking education companies and social ventures in assessment, evaluation, and STEM programming. Before consulting, Karoline also held leadership roles and served as Vice President for Research and Program Effectiveness for the largest STEM provider in the country. She led assessment and evaluation initiatives that measured in-demand and transferable skills that prepare students for the workforce. She also measured the quality of hands-on STEM programs that reached tens of thousands of teachers and over one million students annually. Her work experience spans several education companies and organizations, many of which operate on a large scale. These experiences gave her insight into what it takes to make learning accessible and relevant to all students from rural Alaska to urban Miami and everywhere in between.

She is an experienced analyst, researcher, evaluator, classroom teacher and presents nationally and internationally on education topics. Though she holds a doctorate in Psychological and Quantitative Foundations, she believes there is no such thing as a "terminal degree." Clients, colleagues, children at the library, and strangers on the street continue to inform and shape her understanding of the world.

With a proven track record of designing and evaluating strategies for forward-thinking companies and social ventures, she brings deep expertise across both non-profit and for-profit sectors.
